Meet the Pastor
Pastor Tom Gabbard, and his wife, Donna have resided in Lewisburg, TN for the past 22 years. Originally from Hamilton, OH, they were privileged to be raised in Christian homes under the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Both were brought to saving faith at an early age, and the Lord has faithfully continued to nourish and strengthen them in His most holy faith over their 32 years of marriage.
Tom has been teaching and preaching for several years, surrendering to that calling in the early 90’s. Up until a few years ago the teaching consisted mainly of adult Sunday School classes,and the preaching was predominately in the area of pulpit supply and mid-week service teaching.
The request for home Bible studies in the Lewisburg area, and the resulting burden in both Tom’s heart and the hearts of those gathering in homes, led to discussions about pursuing a new work in this area. Upon sharing this desire with the elders of their home church in Nashville, and meeting to discuss it in depth, the decision was made to launch out in a church planting effort here in Lewisburg.
Since that beginning, we have been richly blessed and severely tried!…..Nevertheless, God abideth faithful and has sustained a witness in this place. Tom seeks to lead this little flock to a greater knowledge of their Lord and Savior through weekly exposition of the Word. We would be delighted to have you join us in worship on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening!
